Ganko Ittetsu Ramen Boston Reviews from The Last Year
The ramen was delicious and the portions are perfect.
If you're looking for a good Ramen, you found it.
Long wait on weekends about an hour with online reservation.
The extra crispy kareage was amazing- juicy and crispy. The gantetsu shoyu was amazing. The tan tan and karai shoyu was good but not amazing. The chicken gyoza was alright. Plenty of filling.
Next Level Ramen from a Japanese Expert Kara-age Chicken
Next Level Ramen from a Japanese Expert Kara-age Chicken was perfect as well I highly recommend this place inside The Arcade in Coolidge Corner Brookline.
Great!
Great Ramen!!! Totally enjoyed it. Couple of veggie options too. Recommend that the restaurant start taking reservations.
The ramen was delicious and the service was very fast!
The ramen was delicious and the service was very fast! Helpful and friendly staff... Will definitely be coming back!
I got in the long line at 12:45 and was done eating by 1:05.
When I got to the hostess, I ordered the Karai Shoyu...chef's spicy Shoyu. The tables were clean and the small restaurant, which is the size of a cafe, seems to work well for a noodle place. It came out piping hot and the Ramen was served aldente. The staff are really efficient and look for a fast turn around. I had a glass of water sitting at my seat waiting for me. The Ramen was fantastic with the just the right amount of spice. There wasn't a lot of pork in the bowl, but the flavor of the broth made up for it. The whole bill with tip was $20. Although I gave it a 5 star, I still think things could be improved. For instance, my glass of water was never refreshed, nobody checked in with me to see if I wanted to order anything else (I would have ordered a green tea), and there was nothing on the table to add more spice to the bowl. Great place to go if you are in a rush to get somewhere else.
I recently visited Ganko Ittetsu for the first time in many
I recently visited Ganko Ittetsu for the first time in many years and they are still as delicious as I remembered. The star of the show for me was the chicken karaage/ fried chicken. It came piping hot, was not dry at all and had great flavor. The pork gyozas were juicy and tasty. The ramen was one of my favorites I had in a while and I tend to try a new ramen spot at least once a week. It is as busy as I remembered it being a few years ago, however, the wait was not too bad. They offer you their menu to look over and you are able to order, so that by the time you are seated, your food is served to you. This is a great spot for yummy ramen and appetizers!
We think this place is probably the best ramen place in
We think this place is probably the best ramen place in Boston. Another solid 4.5/5 in our book and we're going tell you why for a place we deem the best ramen spot in town. We always get the karai shoyu with extra crunchy garlic and it slaps every time. The broth is very rich and savory (hella spicy too) and the meat + other toppings are usually cooked to perfection. The egg I got was a lil overcooked that day but was delicious regardless. I personally think it was a bit salty today but was still very good and they were slammed since we went on a Saturday cold rainy night. The least favorite thing about this spot is the check in/ waiting process. They don't do reservations ahead of time, and there isn't any clear system on how to get in line or put your name down for table. It was almost frustrating when you constantly felt like you're cutting lines when you got a notification for a table or you're a dummy for waiting in line while you should've checked in upfront first thing first with the hostess. Its a small lil spot so you could understand how things can get claustrophobic and stressful sometimes but if you crave a good hearty ramen bowl, its worth the wait! There are lots of nice shops around for you to explore after you figure out how to put your name down for a table
If you're on the hunt for an exceptional Japanese ramen
If you're on the hunt for an exceptional Japanese ramen spot, look no further than Ganko ittetsu. This gem left my taste buds dancing and my stomach thoroughly satisfied. I am so impressed by the chicken karaage. The crunch on the outside is unparalleled, giving way to the juiciest, most tender chicken I've ever had the pressure of sinking my teeth into. Of course the ramen is not to be overlooked either. The broth is rich and flavorful and the noodles perfectly cooked. I know I'll definitely be back.
Love how you can join the waitlist ahead of time and I
Love how you can join the waitlist ahead of time and I would highly suggest doing so. The ramen was good, the gyoza was solid, the Karage was good but I wished they just cut it up. Otherwise, the place is busy and but the service is fairly fast. They do ask you to order before your table is ready.
One of the best Ramen experiences in town.
Chef Ken Iwaoka is the real deal. Serving up the most authentic and insanely tasty Ramen options. The service is quick as you order your entire meal before you're seated. The space is small, but adequate, with tables inside and out. You can also sit at the Ramen bar! Appetizers include pork or chicken gyoza, or Kara-age Original Japanese traditional deep fried soy marinated chicken thigh meat. Served with garlic ponzu. Enjoy!
Great Ramen, and just as great Karaage Chicken.
The only challenge I ean into is the wait. Depending on the time and day, you may have to wait and hour, which really speaks to its great food
All around awesome! First off the food is absolutely
All around awesome! First off the food is absolutely incredible. Definitely the best ramen and karage I have ever had. The broth had so much flavor, the noodles were perfect, and the garlic ponzu sauce for the chicken was incredible. The service was amazing, our food arrived very quick and they came over multiple times to check on us. One thing I recommend is getting on the waitlist because it does get pretty busy on the weekends. The inside of the restaurant was nice but it was hard to get parking and in an old plaza. The inside was lively with many decorations and tables and they even had a place for single parties. Totally recommend if you are looking for a good ramen place.
Best Ramen place in Boston.
The Tan Tan and 1980 is one of my favorires. Fast service as well, very popular so expect a 30 minute wait time for most dinner times
Best ramen in Boston hands down.
It will always hit, usually have to reserve a spot ahead of time but it's so good and affirming
Not quite a fan of the noodles as they weren't that chewy.
Also various parts of the ramen bowl were cold, and wasn't sure if intentional or not. The karaage chicken was much better, with it being crispy and juicy, but it was too hot at the time.
Great spot for a good bowl of ramen.
The space is tight but the staff are friendly and efficient. When we went the staff take your order while waiting so that when you sit down the time for your meal to arrive is shorter than expected. Would recommend for a quick, delicious meal.
Best ramen in town, hands down.
It's small but that's how most ramen shops in Japan are. Service is great, ramen comes out fairly quickly.
Good and cute little ramen shop tucked into a shopping mall
Good and cute little ramen shop tucked into a shopping mall in Brookline. Ramen dishes are good, nothing particularly exceptional, but consistent. However their kaarage is out of this world good - we got it with just the ponzu and it was light, crisp and incredibly juicy. Would come back even just for the kaarage.
Must try ramen place in Brookline.
One of the best in the area. Recommend getting on the waitlist to avoid wait
This is my go to ramen restaurant in Boston.
The ramen here is consistently great quality. I've never had a poor or average meal at this restaurant. The wait time can get a little long because there isn't a lot of seating, but the staff are all extremely attentive and kind. The vibe rocks and once you are sat inside you get your food almost right away, so the wait before being sat isn't bad considering how fast you get your food.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.

Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res

Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
