Momotaro Chicago Reviews
Momotaro was just fantastic.
Upon entrance, we were greeted by enthusiastic staff. To start, the beef tsukune sliders: unassuming and so delicious. The meat was seasoned well, and the miso sauce was the perfect addition. The bao bun was soft and a nice vessel for the meat/miso

Sat downstairs at the bar for the infamous burger. Short and sweet, the burger is a 5! Service typically a 4, tonight a 2. Here's why: We came in at 940. The kitchen closes at 10. We walked in and ordered promptly 2 burgers well done, no cheese,

Exotic and aesthetic japanese restaurant in Chicago.
The food was unbelievable. I was a bit skeptical on how the food might be but exceeded my expectation and the prices were very reasonable. The sushi and the dumplings were my favorite. Chicken rice and scallop was good as well. Service is really q
Good food and service, but can get spendy.
Small plates, good tasting menu. Not a cheap evening. The crispy fried rice was a great shareable starter. Good service, we liked sitting upstairs- tucked away a bit.
Great Japanese!

A Vegan Walks into Momotaroโฆ and Stays for the Zucchini
If youโve ever been the lone vegan at a high-end Japanese restaurant, you know the routine: smile politely at the sea urchin, ask hopefully about the tempura, and resign yourself to a bowl of rice with a side of pity. But not at Momotaro. From the
Fast food quality sushi and terrible service and ambience
We'd been to Momotaro many times, with usually great experiences, so we were excited to return with a friend. Unfortunately, on a Monday evening, we had a pretty terrible experience. Food-wise: Just average. We ordered several sushi rolls to
Wow this food is amazing.
I absolutely love going here and will return! 10/10 experience.
We came here specifically for the burger.
Burger was very delicious probably my number three burger in Chicago. Love the fries that came with the burger. It is a tad bit pricey. They use a slightly fried bun, which is a nice touch. It is not too greasy overall. We also got the chicken curry.

Sad to have to leave such a negative review when the food itself was quite delicious. But our server was so increasingly rude to our group throughout our meal that I'm compelled to share our experience. At first we tried to make excuses on behalf of
Food was excellent.
I'll start with that. We arrived around 5 for our 530 reservation and sat almost immediately. Once our server came over we stressed how we had to leave by seven. Assumed that was plenty of time. Well seven rolls around and we still haven't had our en

I really like this restaurant food, service and atmosphere
I really like this restaurant food, service and atmosphere all go hand in hand. My only complaint is the tables are too close together, not really intimate in that way since you will hear the next tables conversation. Food wise, I liked everything I
I had a very nice meal here with my family.

Best meal in Chicago
Seriously the best meal we had during our trip to Chicago. The sushi was incredibly fresh and their flavor combinations were phenomenal. Every single thing we had we loved. Would highly recommend.
Top-o-the-line modern Japanese cuisine
I have mixed feelings about our visit to this restaurant, since the food (prepared at an open kitchen) was absolutely fantastic and I am not especially a fan of seafood. We were taken there by relatives who live in Chicago, and every bite of the ext
So very expensive for the amount of food.
It's insane how overpriced for the quality and quantity. We sat at the bar--drinks were great. I was so looking forward to this being a hit! I literally would never go back. And those noodles--not hype worthy!

The rule to justify cost for a restaurant is by putting forth an effort worthy of the cost. We were footed 300 dollars for 3 people, for 1 yakitori don, 1 gyutan, 1 meatball, 6-7 pieces of sushi, and 1 tiny bottle of sake for $60. Our experience at M
