Discriminatory Service Spoils a Potentially Great Experience
My experience at was deeply disappointing due to discriminatory and unprofessional staff behavior. Upon arrival, we were initially asked to find our own table. After finding an available spot, we were confronted by a waiter who made a shocking stat
Best beer garden in Austria
This was maybe the best beer garden I have ever visited. It is a beautiful venue with lots of trees, tables, etc. It is located in Vienna's largest Amusement Park about a 1/4 mile behind the giant Ferris Wheel. Our waiter was extremely friend

No, the food isn't the greatest thing I've ever eaten, but the location and ambiance make up for it, so a full on 5 stars. Also, we liked it so much that we went here twice! Located at The Prater amusument park, the Schweizerhaus is ENORMO
Horrible experience, horrible service, horrible system.
Horrible customer service. Horrible seating system. Every table is secretly reserved but thereâs no hosts so you just have to walk around to every section and ask if the empty tables are reserved (they all are). When I asked them how to make a rese
This place is a gem.
Right at the entrance of Prater amusement park, this place has endless of options. The knuckle was good, crispy and great flavor. It was served with two different kind of mustards and sourkraought. We also ordered some sausages that were delicious. T
Cool atmosphere but disappointed by the food.
I liked that it felt very old school... Lots of regulars and experienced wait staff. It was clean and efficient. My beer was good. On the negative side, I have had better wiener schnitzel in Ohio. It was below mid tier. No crisp, just vaguely mushy

We've been there twice for dinner while in Vienna. Restaurant is always very busy, but you can always find a table even for a bit more people. Service is quick and good, food is really well prepared and delicious and you can really enjoy the local
Ripped off
Great food and atmosphere. We had the pork knuckle and really enjoyed it. However, some of the staff working here are scumbags. I went to order another beer and the waiter added two beers onto our receipt. He said, "One for me, one for you"

Great Biergarten in Prater Messe
Schweizerhaus is a large beer garden located in the Prater Messe district near the Wirtschaft Universitat campus. I would recommend reservations because this place is always busy and it is tricky to find a table, especially for groups of 3 or more.
Vienna Schwein Haxe
Actually, we were looking for the Schwein haxe. So, this was the only result which google offered. Any way the atmosphere is festive since it is in beautiful Prater Park. Sitting outside in the three shades give it a wonderful feeling and the stuff
GARDEN
It's a wonderful place located in the Prater, in the playground. We went for dinner, the place is huge, they have dozens of tables inside and outside. We waited about ten minutes for an empty table in the garden. The food is extremely delicious, the
Unfortunately, it is more of a mass tourism destination.
The room where our table was was very large, rather uncomfortable and loud. When we arrived, we were told which room our table was in and we were shown the way. It was rather an impersonal approach. There were no chairs at our table, so we had to fin
The most unfriendly and arrogant waiter in Vienna
There are so many great restaurants in Vienna. The Schweizerhaus is definitely not one of them. We were greeted very warmly by a member of staff at the entrance and then given a table. We were then assigned a waiter who looked more like a member of a
racist and disagreable waiter
racist and disagreeable waiter, we regret to have been there. Will suggest to choose another place without any hesitation.
Not served
I wasn't served despite waiting for 30 minutes, they just ignored me. When it started to rain after 40 minutes, they told me sorry, we're closing now.
Catastrophe!
Extremely unfriendly staff!!! The food was good and arrived very quickly, but the service was a nightmare! Our waiter Mr. Robert was grumpy and irritable from the start, but when I wanted to order another drink after the meal I got the answer "N
Rude, jerky server
In the early evening of April 19, we tried to get a table in the relatively crowded interior. A young waiter seated me at a table by the window, which had not yet been taken, and then disappeared. We sat among the dirty glasses for about 10 minutes,
Service staff unfriendly and unmotivated
Food OK. Service staff unmotivated (made us wait 30 minutes for our order to be taken) and very unfriendly (waiter complained because we didn't order three identical dishes at once, but rather each person one after the other. Then he cheekily complai
